Wall Games is an anually hosted graffiti and street art event held in the centre of Northampton, England.
Each year Wall Games assembles some of the U.K.'s top graf artists to unleash their talents on Northampton town centre and create pieces on designated areas and buildings to uplift the area.
Wall Games 2026
Wall Games returns to Northampton this August Bank Holiday weekend, bringing together more than 330 artists from across the UK and beyond for three days of creativity, competition and community.
Taking place 29–31 August 2026, the event will once again transform Northampton town centre into a vibrant open-air gallery, celebrating street art and urban culture on an unprecedented scale.
Now recognised as one of Europe's largest live street art events, Wall Games attracts internationally acclaimed muralists, emerging talent, illustrators, graffiti writers and creatives of every style. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to watch artists produce large-scale works live while exploring exhibitions, live painting, interactive experiences, workshops, music, competitions and family-friendly activities throughout the weekend.
Founded in Northampton by curator James Thompson, Wall Games has grown from a grassroots community project into a nationally recognised celebration of creativity, helping to establish Northampton as one of the UK's leading destinations for street art and public culture. Since its launch, the festival has welcomed hundreds of artists and thousands of visitors while creating lasting public artworks that continue to enrich the town throughout the year.
This year's programme promises its biggest celebration yet, featuring:
- More than 330 live artists creating work across Northampton.
- Live street art battles and creative competitions.
- Interactive games and hands-on workshops.
- Live DJs and music throughout the weekend.
- Family activities suitable for all ages.
- Opportunities to meet artists and experience the creative process first-hand.
"Wall Games is about bringing people together through creativity," said founder James Thompson. "Every year we see artists, families, businesses and visitors come together to celebrate art in public spaces. Northampton becomes a living canvas, and everyone is invited to be part of it."
As well as providing a spectacular cultural experience, Wall Games continues to support local businesses, encourage tourism and showcase Northampton as a thriving creative destination. The festival has become a key fixture in the town's cultural calendar, attracting visitors from across the UK and internationally.
The festival is free to attend, with activities taking place throughout Northampton town centre between 10:00am and 6:00pm on 29th-31st August, alongside special evening events and performances across the weekend, including the official after party at Northampton's Roadmender.
